Wednesday Services (commencing in March) @ 2825 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford, 7:30 p.m.
We are a congregation in Vancouver, BC, Canada, belonging to the Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland, which is reformed in doctrine, worship and practice. Our church adheres to the original Westminster Confession and Standards, subordinate to the Word of God.
- Calvinistic doctrines of Grace
- Puritan piety
- Worship regulated by the Word of God with
a Capella singing and exclusive psalmody
- The Presbyterian form of governance
Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth.
Truly, no one will ever seriously resort to the mercy of God, but he who, having been touched with the threatenings of God, shall dread that judgment of eternal death which they denounce, shall abhor himself on account of his own sins, shall not carelessly indulge his vices, nor slumber in his pollution; but shall anxiously sigh for the remedy of his evils.
A Biblical Reformed Church for Vancouver
To the best of our knowledge, we are the only Reformed and Presbyterian church in the Greater Vancouver area that both upholds the original Westminster Standards (including the Westminster Confession of Faith) and uses the King James Bible in worship. However, we have a primary concern for the Gospel. While we are small in number, we believe that a faithful following of the Word of God should be our first act of obedience in relation to church attendance.
The Vancouver Free Presbyterian Church (of Scotland) was formerly the Vancouver Reformed Church. Our meeting place is in Burnaby, BC, Canada.
